Virtual Reality – what is it?<\/h1>\n

Virtual reality, or VR for short, is the representation of a real-time computer-generated, interactive virtual environment. This artificial reality takes up the complete field of vision of the viewer. \u2028You are virtually in a game instead of looking at it from the outside.
\nThe biggest advantage of VR applications is that the viewer gets a realistic, spatial idea of what he sees. The viewer is immersed in the scenery and can also interact independently by freely selecting the viewing direction and partially determining the events themselves.<\/p>\n

Today, very powerful computers are still needed to compute images like those from 20s.Berlin. In the future, our cell phones will take over this work or it will be calculated right away in the “cloud” and only the finished images will be sent to the VR glasses. This, in combination with even more powerful VR glasses, will dramatically change the way we interact with our reality.<\/p>\n

We will no longer have to travel when we want to visit other people or other countries. New ways of collaborating across continents will become possible.\u2028\u2028Marc Zuckerberg has just renamed his company META and will fully focus his company on the metaverse, as this is where he sees the future of our social interaction.<\/p>\n

Other companies are also currently investing huge sums to achieve this metaverse (or metaverses)<\/p>\n

Augmented Reality<\/h1>\n

Augmented Reality is the display of an additional layer to the user’s reality. This can be information or games, such as the game Pokemon Go, which enjoyed extreme popularity a few years ago.<\/p>\n
